Esra Roise has this fun “defiantly unfinished” look to her stuff. Almost as if she abandons them when they cease to amuse her.
i like the style of both the artist and the creation.

This would freak me out during a 3 am pee
Why do i want to have a fake stuffed elephant head in my our house? Why?
i normally object to the fake moose heads, but why is this so awesome?
(this post is brought to you by sick ramblings.)

Jelly Swarm features 94 origami works each filled with an LED live in Vancouver Aquarium right now, designed by Tangible Interaction and origami artist Joseph Wu.
i want to make jellyfish origami. And have jellyfish lights. And see this exhibit.
(The last part is very unlikely, but still…)

(half-formed house) i am liking this a lot (partly because of my OC tendencies). A bench/shoe rack is a great idea that makes putting on, taking off and stowing away footwear easier. The nearby umbrella stand, coat hanger/message board makes going out easier.
Also, i want those flats and wellies.

The moon has been setting there for the past few nights now.

Puto Bumbong
Puto Bumbong is made from soaked, ground glutinous rice called pirurutong, which has a distinctly purple hue. It is poured into bumbong or bamboo tubes, then steamed until cooked. It is topped with butter, fresh coconut shreds, & muscovado sugar (cane sugar) just before serving.
This dish, along with bibingka, is very popular among Filipinos during the nine day Simbang Gabi novena masses before Christmas.
As a kid i liked this (mostly because of the butter and coconut topping combination) more than bibingka. My mother brought home the latter more often than puto bumbong from Bulacan (this was in the mid-90s, when the NLEX still sucked and the vendors were rarer) so i would beg her and my Tita Josie for this every Christmas season.
In the recent years, bibingka has grown on me. i’ve recently been able to fulfill my craving for it when we went for a visit to Plaridel.
